Bowen Benefit

Stephanie & Brad Bowen have been married for 20 years. Brad & Stephanie have lived in Imperial for 16 years & have 2 beautiful children. They were living out the american dream with their two children when tragedy struck in December 2015. Brad was at work and fell off of a 20ft ladder that gave way. Brad suffered many injuries from the fall including fractured vertebrae & calcaneus fractures. Brad has endured 2 back surgeries and countless physical therapy sessions. Brad is back to work with very limited capabilities and workers compensation has decided to discontinue any assistance including medical coverage. Due to Brad’s limitations he is unable to receive the full pay he was prior to the injuries.

During... Brad’s lengthy recovery, his loving wife Stephanie was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer on 3/9/2017. Due to the fast moving nature of this cancer, Stephanie started treatment immediately. Stephanie will endure numerous chemo treatments, surgeries and radiation treatments. The family's medical insurance does cover some of the costs but as we all know medical insurance has many gaps, thus leaving the family with medical bills piling up on top of already decreased income.
