River Valley Runners is a local running club that Kaitlin Bounds is a part of. We are putting this together to help her and her family reach their goals. Kaitlin at the age of 4 was diagnosed with Autism. To Kaitlin the world outside of her family and home is a scary place. Kaitlin will need her family to be with her every step of the way.
Kaitlin loves to run and early in 2017 she set a goal of being a part of the US Paralympic team reaching the World Paralympic Games in London. She did it! Now we want to help get her mom and dad there. Kaitlin was picked as one of only 50 team members and one of only 6 newcomers to the team.
Kaitlin has taught a lot of us about Autism and she believes she runs for all those who cannot run. She loves to encourage others to step outside of their own comfort zones just as she does every day.
Let's join together and help this young lady and her parents achieve a dream. I know she will give her all for her country.
