Boulder Arts Outdoors: A Socially Distanced Drive-In Performance Pop-Up presents its second series this September 25, 26, and 27 between 5:30pm and 7pm at the Gerald Stazio Softball Fields parking lot.
BAO's mission is to create a safe platform for performance while the COVID-19 pandemic necessitates social distancing, to re-engage artists and the community, and to celebrate diverse artistic voices. Boulder Arts Outdoors' inaugural series, presented August 14, 15, and 16, 2020, hosted 43 artists, approximately 300 audience members, and 1,179 logins to the live streams. The series sold out quickly, and in response to demand from performers and members of the community, Boulder Arts Outdoors will present another series with a brand new lineup of fabulous Boulder-based performers.
So that the artists, whose livelihoods have been severely impacted by the pandemic, can take away 100% of the ticket proceeds, Boulder Arts Outdoors must raise $6,000 to cover its operating expenses. If you value live performance, donate so that, together, we can keep artists engaged and our cultural landscape alive!
Boulder Arts Outdoors is operating in partnership with the City of Boulder's Parks and Recreation Department.
