Bottles of water for the homeless in Brussels

As everyone is aware, there is a heatwave coming to Brussels this week and it’s going to get hot hot hot!

While we’re out enjoying the sunshine and getting to return home to water and a nice cold shower (and a fan if Hema haven’t run out), the homeless of Brussels are going to suffer the most this week.

Together with the folk from Serve the City I have organised a water distribution project and a rota of volunteers to distribute bottles of water throughout this week and until the weather cools down a bit. Serve the City very kindly pre-subsidised us buying the water bottles, but we now need to raise some funds to pay them back. The total cost was €100, and any money raised beyond the goal will go towards buying more water bottles if the heat continues. Any remaining money I will donate directly to Serve the City.

You can read more about Serve the City and their work here, and whatever leftover money could go towards - https://www.servethecity.brussels/

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and pledge some money.
