The Green Valley High School Choirs are known nationally for their outstanding music making and extraordinary commitment to excellence. We have the opportunity to purchase a Boston GP-163, 5 foot 4 inch Grand Piano.
We have been using a grand piano that has been labeled “beyond economic repair” by the school district. This piano has to be constantly tuned and worked on. Having a grand piano that works and stays in tune is very important to our Choirs and their continued excellence.
Thanks to Southern Nevada Music, we were given the chance to use the Boston Grand on loan for this school year. Between fundraising by the choir and a generous donation from the Rivera family, we have raised $10,000.00.
We need to raise $12,000.00 in order to purchase and keep this amazing instrument that is used daily in the choir room and also for all concerts and festivals we host on our campus.
