Thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page & considering supporting my journey towards fulfilling yet another milestone on my bucket list, as well as helping me achieve my life long dream of becoming Miss Massachusetts USA 2015.
My name is Sade Journey White. I am currently pursuing a degree in criminal justice as well as studying dance at Boston Ballet. I have also been blessed with the opportunity of being signed to a local agency for the past four years where I have worked and modeled for some of the best local designers. I have been selected as a state finalist in the Miss Massachusetts USA 2015 Pageant which will be held over the weekend of November 21st-23rd at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. If I am rewarded with the title of Miss Massachusetts I will then represent my state in the nationally televised Miss USA 2015 pageant on NBC.
I have always dreamed of being a part of a platform that supported young women in fulfilling their dreams and goals of what beauty and elegance represents today. I am passionate in aiding young people with mental illnesses and trauma victims. In winning Miss Massachusetts I hope to raise awareness as well as acknowledge those with mental illness and the effects they have on individuals & their families. I believe in "Embracing what makes you unique, even if it makes other people uncomfortable". We can all make a powerful impact in our communities and the world by staying true to ourselves regardless of what others may say or think. We find greatness in ourselves when we celebrate our own individuality.
As part of my responsibilities as a contestant, I am required to raise $1,295 to cover my pageant expenses including accommodations, meals, production and entertainment expenses. I have set my goal at 4,000 to cover out of pocket expenses such as wardrobe, hair, makeup, and HeadShots.
As a financial sponsor,you will be included in the official pageant program. Even the smallest donation will help me further reach my goal. I am ecstatic about being able to participate in this year’s pageant and I look forward to the opportunity of being able to represent the beautiful state of Massachusetts as the sophisticated, bubbly, poised, and confident Miss Massachusetts 2015.
