Building Our Family: Piece By Piece

Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you know, Bryan and I have been struggling for a couple of years now to grow our family. Our journey has been an emotional rollercoaster filled with three miscarriages, seven intrauterine inseminations (IUI), a lot of doctor’s appointments as well as unpleasant fertility medications. We have reached a point in our journey where our best shot at having a biological child is through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). We are excited to take this next step, but unfortunately the cost is significant and Michigan insurance does not recognize infertility as a covered benefit. We have already invested thousands of dollars into our journey and have waited for and prayed about this for a long time. Now we need your support to finally fulfill our dream of welcoming a baby into our family.
We will be creating a special quilt for our future baby's room. We are asking supporters to purchase a piece of the quilt for $10. These funds will be used strictly to cover our IVF costs, including a case management fee, egg retrieval, fertilization, time lapsed photography for monitoring of the embryos, the embryo transfer, and cryopreservation of any remaining embryos. There is no limit as to the number of pieces you may purchase. When you purchase a piece of our quilt, your name will be written somewhere on the quilt. Once the quilt is finished, we will display it in our new baby's room. This will allow us to always remember all of the amazing people who helped bring our family together PIECE by PIECE!
