Hello my name is Joseph Hawkins and my school have teamed up with Camps International to facilitate a community and wildlife expedition in 2026, to Borneo, Indonesia. I have decided to fundraise (with a little help from my mum Charis) to enable me to play an active part in helping to protect their important environment through long-term conservation projects. We will be working alongside local people to support community developement and environmental project work including reforestation by replanting native trees and protecting unique, local species such as orangutans. We would also spend a day at the orangutan rehabilitation centre to learn more about conservation work. The project will be lead by Camps International and you can find more info via the link below
