BORN II WIN "Cancer Won't Win" initiative

My name is Keanan Mims, the founder of BORN II WIN apparel. I was raised in a single parent household with an older brother. Growing up I always struggled with my purpose but always attracted positive people. After graduating high school in 2009, I attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where I received my Bachelor’s in Mathematics. North Carolina A&T reassured my passion and purpose to serve those around me and the generations after me. Before graduating 2013, I had my darkest hour I lost my mother to Breast Cancer and my grandfather within 60 days. Both individuals were integral parts of my life. Not only was my faith tested but I had to endure the trials and tribulations of losing the 2 of the people who knew me best. In those moments, I grew an understanding for my purpose to become a better person and support others. The purpose of campiagn is to honor my mother.
