It is a portrait of a machiavellian man who has built his life upon his dreams and the endless pursuit of desire; a man who through murder, seduction, and power accumulated hoards of wealth, art, land and lovers. The film is to be a work dedicated to the memory of Derek Jarman and exist as a footnote to his oeuvre.</span><br />

<div>Vincenzo Crea will star as Borghese, Hamish Bowles as the Pope, Gianluca Longo as Cardinal Aldobrandini, Nick Hornby as Bernini, and James Mackie as Camerlengo.

<div>The entire 20-minute film will be shot in a contemporary art gallery in London. The work draw upon Ovidian transformations, Dante’s Contrapasso, Spinozian and Schopenhaurian philosophy, asceticism and hedonism, authenticity and deception, and the culture of sexuality.
