Bootie is in need of a bilateral knee surgery. My best buddy has been through a lot in his 6yrs of a beautiful life. Two years ago Bootie slipped on the ice and blew out both of his bicep tendons. He went through one expensive surgery to have his elbows cleaned up. Then returned a month later to have an even more expensive bilateral bicep tendon surgery. The two surgeries coast me thousands of dollars. I just paid it all off. Now he's in need to have both CCL/ACL's repaired in a month.
For a little while now his rear right knee has been bothering him. Then a week ago, on a trail run, Bootie was protecting his right knee and caused damage to his left knee (CCL/ACL) running with joy. Now my beautiful buddy is suffering with one fully blow out knee and one damaged knee that's on its way to being fully blow out. I'm currently in recovery from an expensive brain surgery. Unfortunately I'm financially unable to afford a $3500 bilateral knee surgery for my buddy Bootie Bear.
He has provided so much love for me as I've suffered from Catamenial epilepsy. Which causes left hippo campal echo tonic seizures when I ovulate. I'm currently in recovery from an expensive brain surgery that took place 8 months ago. Where they removed part of my left frontal lobe. I'm officially living seizure free and extremely thankful for all the love given to me. I'm now financially maxed out and can not afford a bilateral knee surgery for my love.
Bootie has been scheduled to have both knees repaired on October 3rd at 9 am by Dr. Kurt Kenny. Located at River Side Animal Care in Rutland Vermont.
I'm asking for as much love as anyone can give to Bootie Bear and me. It'll be a long recovery for Boots but a well needed surgery. The love we have for each other is unexplainable. My eyes are filled with tears. He's definitely been a gift from above with all the love he's given to me while I've been sick! Any love we can give back to him will provide him with the ability to feel better physically for many yrs to come!
