Over the past few years, Dillon and I's good friends the Abrahams have been navigating a series of increasingly complex health challenges. Although they have actively sought out the resources available to them, there are still many plot holes that our healthcare system cannot provide for.

Recently, Michael was diagnosed with Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), a rare disorder the affects the central nervous system. His health has taken a severe decline over the past year and the physical limitations are proving to be a strain that could compromise Erin's health as well.

Erin has identified a tool that will significantly improve their quality of life – a Sit to Stand Lift. The cost of this resource is currently outside of their budget, but my hope is that together, our community can bring this to fruition for two folks who more than deserve some extra love and support right now.

Overall, our goal is to make Erin & Michael's living situation safer and more comfortable as they continue to adapt to their ever changing circumstances. A Sit to Stand Lift seems like a small thing, but I assure you it will make a dramatic impact for them.
