Why Books & Streets? 'Books' because knowledge is power and 'Streets' because that's where we came from. I recently joined forces with streets graffiti artists from Brazil earlier this year, who volunteer in small communities of art in the slums of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The art corner in Sao Paulo, Brazil provide free classes of jiu jitsu, street graffiti and art culture to young people from dangerous communities in the favelas. The objective of this campaign is to support these communities from overseas, so I have decided to create the bridge from the United kingdom to Brazil. To help give these communities with better facilities and some supplies like books, pens, pencils. It is important that these communities are open, the favelas in Brazil have one of the highest numbers of children crime and death rates. These communities are helping to educate and keep young people away from the streets and your donation is very important to help keep these projects going!! Marilia Campbell
