Hi my name is Grace Guillod.  I am 16 years old and have been fortunate enough to have received an amazing education, so far, and also access to things such as books, pens, and pencils.  As you may know, many students in the United States don't have the privileges I have when it comes to receiving these necessary supplies.  In Los Angeles, many of the schools have little, to no money to have these supplies for their students, therefore many teachers are paying out of their own pocket to order things.  My lovely friend, Neil Monaco works at one of these schools.  He is a teacher at King Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science, K/D for short.  One reason why I decided to start this fund and nonprofit is to help his school.  Many of the students are bright, smart, and eager to learn.  My friend, as well as all my teachers, are so inspirational, and such great role models, I would like to give back to the community.  My goal is to raise $5,000 and get recognized by Staples and Office Depot (to donate supplies) and also have books and supplies donated.  If you would like to donate, please feel free.  If you would like to donate books or supplies please feel free to email me at [email redacted] to find out where to ship them.
