Books in Honor of Edna
Donation protected
Edna Fulkerson was a teacher at heart. Even though she didn't officially have her own classroom in a school, she made her own classroom in any way she could. Edna always felt it was her calling to teach her own children, grandchildren, and hundreds of local students to read in her years as a school volunteer and as a Sunday School and Bible School teacher. Her impact on the local school community is immeasurable.
Our family is collecting money to purchase books for Maysville Elementary School classroom libraries to honor her dedication to the children she served for over 60 years. Our goal is to purchase hundreds of books that can be enjoyed by children each day, and to label the books in her honor.
We would like to share Edna's love of reading with others, as she spent countless hours reading to us and with us. We are proud of her dedication to the education of others. She is a testimony to us all using our gifts from God to help others in any way we can.
Thank you for helping us continue to share her love of reading with the children in our community.
