P.S. 116 needs books for its newly renovated library!
We are excited to announce that the renovation and construction of the P.S. 116 library is finally complete! A new reference room complete with new tables, chairs, shelving, meeting area, and giant 4K interactive video panel are all waiting for our students. There is just one more thing necessary for everything to be complete…BOOKS!!
We need your help to fill the shelves of this incredible new space with an amazing array of titles for all P.S. 116 students (Pre-K – 5) to delve into, explore, and nurture their love for learning. Your donation to this project will help finance the purchase of 3,500+ non-fiction books for this wonderful space. It is our hope to be able to begin the 2018-19 school year with a fully stocked library, so there is limited time to make this vision a reality.
