Books for Needy Kenya Students

Mathenge School in Kenya has 600 students learning vocational certificates in auto repair, culinary skills, cyber secuity, construction, and electrical.  The school provides basic secure housing and meals serving an area of composed of tea pickers earning $0.12 per hour or about $5 per week.  Without a boarding school the area children could not afford to go to school.  However after boarding costs there is little money left for books.

The library consists on one rack of dilapidated obsolete books to serve 600 students.  Without relevant books it is difficult for the students to achieve a level of skill required to pass national certification tests.  Electronic books are out of reach of even this modest funding effort.

The target is to buy 100 relevant books at $15.00 each and shipped to the school at $5.00 each or less.  All money raised net of the small Go Fund Me fees will buy books through which will deliver the books in country eliminating middlemen costs.

The need is urgent and immediate!

As books is recieved a photo or note of appreciation will be sent to contributors thrugh Go Fund Me.
