My name is Michelle Peters and I own Bear Hunt Books, once there was a time when I used books to get me through tough times and I want to share a little joy during this incredibly tough time. I am a mum of 3 and a children's book collector too.
I have started this campaign because a good friend is a nurse and she has been selflessly caring for others despite having only just qualified as a nurse. She has 2 children and they have 26 kids with them at their primary school in Liverpool.
I would like to give each of these children and their older and younger siblings a book each. If we raise more money then other children and schools can be nominated.
So many key workers have been taking care of our most vulnerable, ill and precious people and it seems little is being done for their children. We would like to share a gift and say thank you to the children for being amazing, some haven't seen their parents for ages and it must be a very worrying time for them.
