Providing suitable books for children with SEN

Poppy’s Book Charity is a not for profit charity bringing suitable books to Sen children attending mainstream schools. We believe that all neurodiverse  children in mainstream schools should  have access to books that are appropriate for their level of development that will spark their love for
reading.

The priorities of our charity are to
firstly fundraise for the provision of new books for primary schools which are suitable for children with additional need. Secondly we would like to provide books that will not only benefit the child with special needs but which will also support teachers, children, parents and carers involved. Access to suitable  books may be difficult and by out charity providing Sen friendly books we will help support the local community  making reading books a full experience that is inclusive of all children.
