Booker's Medical Fund

One month ago, Booker, who is a well liked and respected full time employee for us with Bon Appetit at Macalester College, was diagnosed with Diabetes. After visiting the hospital for symptoms, they discovered an infection in his bones which made it nessasary to amputate 2 of his toes. Booker is currently in transitional care and starting rehabilitation. We are starting this fund to help with medical bills and to help as he it out of work and will be for some time. The funds will help Booker maintain a healthy quality of life and not feel overwhelmed with the daily financial responsibilities to his family. Our ask is urgent due to the holiday's approaching and his passion for family and givng to others.  Booker has been missed here at Macalester College in St Paul. Both students and staff along with coworkers are thinking of Booker during this time of hardship. Thank you for your time and consideration of one of our family members.
