Book Launch: 7 Battles Every Woman Encounters

In 2015, the movie, The War Room released in theaters across the globe. The plot was centered around a couple having strong marital strife. The wife, Elizabeth, met a widow, Miss Clara who was well trained in the battle against spiritual warfare. Over time, Miss Clara taught Elizabeth about the real fight going on, who the real enemy was and helped her design a battleplan to overcome.
Sitting there as a newlywed, a new military spouse, and pregnant mother to be, I was having a tough time and this message awakened my spirit. One minor problem, I had no idea how to craft a “battle plan” around the spiritual warfare going on in my own life, not to mention, the topic seemed very intimidating begin learning about. I began to connect with other women who were feeling the tension in their own marriages, experiencing fear, anxiety, loneliness, depression, and disqualification from their own dreams. It was saddening and eye-opening to find a common thread, and threat against the value, purpose, and call on women. The more encounters I had externally and the more experiences I walked internally, the more determined I became to share out of my own experience and the valuable input of so many other women, a battle plan guide.
I’m writing a book! I have been working on this since 2018 and will be hiring Westbow Press in Dec. of 2019 to begin the path to publication. The working title is, 7 Battles that Every Woman Encounters and the tools needed to fight victoriously. It is a non-fiction, Christian book walking women through the background of the war we are all in, the enemy against us and the tools that we have been given as believers, as daughters, to step into our victory.
The seven battles are:
1- The Battle Against your Heart
2- The Battle Against your Mind
3- The Battle Against your Past
4- The Battle Against your Words
5- The Battle Against your Present
6- The Battle Against your Future
7- The Battle Against your Calling + Legacy
My prayer is that women find hope, healing, and have a fresh revelation of their purpose and worth in who God has called them to be.
