Bonnie Mills - Back Surgery Fund

Earlier this year, Bonnie started to experience what seemed like simple back pain. But the back pain continued to get worse and soon also affected the sciatic nerve causing constant and severe pain in her back and leg.

Within a few months, the pain became severe and unbearable. Trying to work behind the bar became excruciating as she was constantly standing, bending and lifting. After numerous doctor's appointments, all they could do was prescribe stronger and stronger pain medication. She had several Catscans and MRI's, but could not get an appointment with a neurosurgeon to see if surgery was an option.

By November, Bonnies pain was so severe, she could barely walk, and could no longer work. She was finally admitted to the hospital when her pain was so severe, that even the strongest narcotics were not providing relief.

Thankfully Bonnie was able to get back surgery in early December, finally relieving her pain. She is now recovering at home and cannot return to work for at least another 8 weeks.

Being off work for so long is putting much stress on her finances. She still has bills to pay and a family to feed. With Christmas coming, we want to help relieve this stress, so she can recover and not worry about the money.

Everybody loves Bonnie at Sawbucks! She is the friendly face behind the bar and always the first to say hello. She is well loved by the staff and patrons.
