<div>Hi, my name is Paola, and I’m reaching out to you today for help with my beloved toy poodle, Bonnie (also known as Bonita). She’s just 4 months old and weighs only 2.5kg. I rescued her a month ago, and she’s brought so much love and joy into my life. Bonnie is playful, sweet, and full of energy—she truly is part of our family.

<div>Unfortunately, last night while playing, Bonnie accidentally pulled an earring from my ear and swallowed it. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they were able to attempt to retrieve the earring with an endoscopy, but it has already started moving toward her intestine. Because of Bonnie's small size, this is extremely dangerous and could lead to severe complications if not addressed quickly.

<div>Bonnie is currently under observation, but the doctors have warned that she may need a second surgery to remove the earring, and the costs are mounting. The first operation already cost $6,000 AUD, and the second surgery could cost up to $10,000 AUD or more. The insurance company won’t cover these expenses because they have a 30-day waiting period for emergency cases, leaving us in a difficult position.
