Bonanno-Hirsch Home Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On November 11, 2020, Amy Bonanno Hirsch and Mike Hirsch were at home during Tropical Storm Eta  in South Carolina when lightning unexpectedly hit their home. While they were thankfully able to escape their home safely, a fire had started in their attic. While most of the house was spared from direct fire damage, there was significant water and electrical damage throughout the home. Rain continues to fall from the storm, and they are returning to the home to gather whatever items are salvageable.

Most can agree that this past year has been especially difficult, and moving in just 7 months ago after building the house from scratch, they were so looking forward to enjoying their first holidays in their brand new home while unable to travel out of state to their family due to the pandemic.

Their house is not currently livable, and they will be displaced for months. While they work to re-build their home in the coming months, I wanted to create a fund to hopefully lessen the financial burden of the unexpected expenses that are sure to arise and help contribute to anything that is not covered by insurance.

Amy is my best friend dating back more than 20 years. To see her and Mike have to go through this is devastating. Any small contribution you can make, no matter the amount, would be an incredible help.
