On Sunday May 5th at approximately 1:26PM the Boggs family were hit by a driver who ran a stop sign.  Their infant, Katherine Boggs, died upon impact.  Stacey is in critical condition, her surgeries have gone well so far but she has not been awake since the accident, she is now at the phase where the medical team is starting the process of waking her up.Their daughter Faith has also passed due to her injuries after putting up a brave fight for several days .  Josh has a concussion but is okay.  Their son Bruce has bruising on his spine which is causing him to feel numbness in his leg, but the doctors have said that this should go away with time.  Stacey's daughter Raina hurt her leg but is relatively okay as well.

What we want to do is give this family as much support as we possibly can in their time of need.  The church is currently in the process of organizing benefit dinners among other things, and the Martial Arts community that Josh belongs to is preparing to organize tournaments and seminars that will benefit the family directly.  If you cannot attend these events, this gofundme is how you can contribute from anywhere in the world.

All donations of any size are accepted.  This family is going to need a lot of support from their family and friends, both financially and spiritually.  They ask that you keep them in your prayers during this difficult time.  We will update this page with additional news as we get it.

I refuse to quit. I go to see you every day. I have prayed for you to get better. I want you home. I am definitely seeing you look better. Today I went to court for her guardianship. This gives me the legal tools to make sure I can do whatever it takes to reach my goal of waking up next to her again. Everything went well and I should have paperwork soon. This is awesome, because, she should be in a nursing home, by the end of the week. Yay. I'm just waiting on the insurance to verify. I'll give all the information then. But, I am getting my wife out of ICU. This makes me so happy. I am looking back at pictures and seeing the process we have made. We went from, not knowing if she would make it, to being moved to a nursing home. I'm going to get her back. What a wonderful reward for being patient. I can't wait to post a video of us slow dancing. I'll gladly take requests. It is so important to see improvement. God has spared us and gave us the gift of life and healing. Thank you, Lord Jesus for your mercy and please continue to completely heal my wife and ease her mind. The story is starting to get good. Still far from over. God can do anything. If you have not had a conversation with God, there is no time like the present, to start. God bless. -Josh

A story of progress. She has her eyes open. She already looking more beautiful each day. I am happy to say that her brain infection is officially cleared up and she will be having surgery tomorrow to have her skull flap put back in. I know we still have a long road. However, the last week has led to this amazing progress in her condition. I am asking everyone to pray for her complete healing. I humbly ask God to bring her back completely healed and back to her self. I am ready and miss her being with me. Our bond will be stronger then ever. God is good and he is doing good things. - Josh

The method that these funds will be issued to the Boggs family has been organized by the family's attorney. All the funds from this campaign and the others are all being deposited into the Boggs Family Donation Fund at Mechanics Bank. Once the funds are in the account, a third party from Shenandoah Christian Church records the deposit, he will also record any withdraws. Funds can only be withdraw with the signature of both the family attorney and myself. This means that three people track all of the funds donated to the family in this, the Boggs Family's time of need. Thanks to all of you for all of the love and support that you have all shown our dear friends.

We are sad to inform everyone that Josh and Stacey's daughter Faith has also died from her injuries. Stacey remains in critical condition, but has showed signs of increased brain activity. Josh has asked us to continue to pray for all involved. We will update this page with additional information as we get it.
