Bodyrockerz does DOTY Ireland

Bodyrockerz is a dance school in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire which has been run by Amanda Johnson and Sophie Hutchings for the past 10 years. It has many young and passionate dancers all filled with so much love and ambition to dance. A number of students have qualified for a prestigious dance competition in Knock, Ireland by gaining 1st or 2nd place at a previous competition which for many will be a once in a lifetime opportunity. For some of these kids it will be their only holiday of the year and the memories will last a lifetime. Without the support and help of others it just wouldn't be possible to make this dream come true and fund the trip for the kids. This is also an opportunity to represent Bodyrockerz and England over in Ireland.
Some of the children have aspired to take part in this festival before but it has just not been possible so we are doing all we can to make the fundraising this year a success! Some of the dancers hoping to go have been dancing with Bodyrockerz for 9 years now, growing up with the school and hoping to represent Bodyrockerz in Ireland before the demands of GCSE's and starting college.
Alongside this page we are also doing our best over the coming months to raise as much money as possible ourselves by doing bake sales, a sponsored cycle where the kids will take it in turn to cycle 16.5 miles each to reach Ireland, sponsored walk and a clothes bank plus much more.....
The school is great for the kids as it gives them the opportunity to have a hobby they love, a hobby that helps them to grow in confidence, make amazing friendships and learn how to support one another. As they are so dedicated to dance and spend so much time there it also avoids the kids spending time on the streets or worse getting in trouble.
Any help we can get would be amazing, parents already pay so much out for lessons, competitions and costumes and this will just not be possible without the help of others! The competition is in November so we are hoping to have raised enough by September at the latest!!!!
