This "go fund me" page is started to help raise money to cover costs for further developing the Body Piloting Championships. I want to go further and build on what has been created so far. But I NEED help.

The money raised has and will go to continuing to build and develop the judge system software so it can be spread throughout the skydive community, the live stream system, media and content creation, the website to host all the tutorials and the judging system so the game can be played easily worldwide.

The Goal I wanted to achieve by creating this competition was to create an indoor skydiving competition the public could easily understand, as well as allow the most basic of skill levels to participate in it easily, with a clear path of progression for their future development. This concept was finally proven to work with the first-ever official BPC on the 5th Nov 2022 at IFly Downunder in Sydney's west, Penrith and has since seen 5 additions.

Body piloting solves the problem of a lack of a staged skill progression competition for the dynamic indoor skydiving discipline and a non-bias competition that is attractive to the non-skydiver that they can understand and follow easily without losing their attention. Creating an enticing and easily understood competition gives more chances of building future professional mainstream career path opportunities to a sport lacking in it for its athletes.

With the public being able to follow and understand exactly what is happening live, this gives athletes the opportunity for sponsorship and companies an avenue for marketing as it is being seen and understood, not just by those that do the sport. This provides further growth to an industry and gives the option for people to choose various career paths in a sport that was once just for fun and had limited career opportunities for its professionals during and after competing. I want to be able to pay people for their professional work just like other sports.

To do this, I am building a membership platform that gives access to educational material. This online judging system allows its members to compete and move up the rankings ladder allowing a mainstream competition to be formed. The flow-on effect would then give outside spectators the possibility to start following individual competitors and become fans, creating a regular following and viewership, building more opportunities for sponsorship and further growth within the sport for all stakeholders.

I am doing this because I am incredibly passionate about human flight and want to create long-term future job opportunities for those currently in the sport; there is a lack of further development opportunities and a life span for those in it. I want to change that and create the ability for the people in it to have a long successful career; I want job security and to provide that for others. To do that, We need to reach a wider audience and have a transparent, understandable progression platform that is enticing to follow; I believe this idea ticks those boxes.

I have spent eight years developing this and over $30,000+ of my own money, not including the endless hours. I am incredibly passionate about this but need financial help to get this off the ground further as the following stages go beyond small investments and elbow grease.
