Bodhi's Cancer Treatment Fund

Last year, I took my companion dog, Bodhi in to his vet at the SPCA in San Francisco, to see about this lump forming on his left side. The veterinarian looked at it, touched it and said, “it's just fat, so don't worry about it.” She didn't test it for anything. I left feeling she must know best... 

Well, a year later, the "fat" had grown in size and I took him back to the SPCA and asked to have them look at it again. This time a different veterinarian examined him. She was very concerned and proceeded to run a culture test, but to be absolutely sure; she did a biopsy on it as well. That biopsy came back positive for a mass cell tumor! 

Bodhi has to undergo surgery, radiation and chemo to remove the Mass- tumor from his side as well as 3 more tumors. The surgery will be extensive fortunately Bodhi is young and very healthy otherwise. 

Then on January 1st I recently had to come up with a large sum of money because I had to move out of my old rent controlled apartment.  I love this new house but the rent is significantly more and I am actively looking for a roommate to split the cost. The news about Bodhi’s cancer couldn’t have come at a worse time!  

Please, if you can, I could really use some help!  He's my companion!
