Bodhi needs Blood Transfusions

Bodhi the Shit Zhu was completely healthy and trucking along until Saturday. The ER Vet says she may never know why but all of a sudden his immune system kicked into high gear and is destroying his red blood cells. He was just in for his comprehensive exam a month ago.
Yesterday, he spent the day at Banfield because he was throwing up a lot of bile, his urine looked very concentrated to me and he was not eating.
Apparently, out of nowhere? The ER Vet speculates a tick-born virus? A Mosquito Virus? No idea, (just like with humans).
I cannot pay for the $4000 life-saving treatment which they are requiring up front. I have Care Credit but not enough.
The recommended treatment will take five days, after which they can treat him for the underlying cause with antibiotics or steroids. But ,without transfusions, he will die.
How do I live with myself knowing he can be treated but I just cannot afford it?!
I am asking for your help. I can pay all of it back, monthly $250 at least, but I just have no means to get it all up front. He is in the hospital and I will go see him in a few minutes. I can home to take care of my other pup and to try to figure out a way to get the capital.
This is dire. He may not make it a few days without it. If all you can send are ideas, please, please do If all you have is love and prayer, I will take it.
