After years of tedious effort to realize the dream of starting their own restaurant, the dream came true last year for my sister Lisa Chavez and her family. They opened Bodeen’s BBQ and we’re working hard every day to see the business become a success. This week a most unfortunate accident occurred at their business that has put the dream on hold. A fire broke out that caused significant damage to the restaurant and has caused them to close for the time
being. To say that this is devastating to the family is an understatement.
Not only do they have to close down but their insurance may only cover part of the damage and doesn’t cover loss of business while extensive and lengthy repairs are made. I know that through the kindness and generosity of others, miraculous things often happen and I ask that you please pray for the family to recover quickly from this tragedy. And for those who are in a position to, please donate to help if you can. And even if you can’t help financially, please share this story with your friends and family to get word out to as many people as possible so we can help them get back on their feet as quickly as we can. And most importantly of all, please keep them in your prayers as they go through this difficult setback. Thank you for anything you can do to help.
