I am Panuvit Khaokaew Candidate of Bocuse d'Or Thailand for this year 2021! and we are Bocuse d'Or Thailand Team.
Let me explain a little bit about this Competition.
Bocuse d’Or is one of the best World Culinary Competition that professional chefs around the world dreamed to participate as a representative candidate for their country.
During 5 hours 35 minutes, we have to masterpiece 2 creation with only 1 Chef, 1 Commis, and 1 Coach.
It's the hardest culinary competition I would say.
We have 3 rounds to compete.
First, National selection was done in august 2019 and I was the one who selected.
Second, the Continent Selection for us Asia which should be held in July (the top 5 countries will be selected for the Final Round). Last year, Thailand proudly win the silver trophy, 2nd place for our first time rejoining this competition.
Last is the World Final Selection. 24 countries selected by continental selection will compete in January during the SIRHA show in Lyon city of Paul Bocuse.
This year will be a little different, we were selected directly through the final round by ranking from last year which will be in January 2021 at Lyon, France (In 7 Months)
Last year, It wouldn’t be possible from the great support from great sponsors who provided valuable products and budget support for us in this event.
But due to this epidemic situation, most of our partners withdraw their sponsor and support that we do understand.
Being the candidate representing Thailand, We need your support!
We are ready and very confident for this year to get selected to the final!
As our budget is very low, we are looking for funding for training, improving skills, equipment, logistics ...
