Bob's raising funds for his friend’s Rare Disease

Tax deductible
To those just coming on to the Go Fund Me page, I wanted to let you know I completed the full 500 mile ride and then some. Rode from the Missouri River on the west border of Iowa to the Mississippi River on the eastern border. Two things for sure....it was the hottest RAGBRAI in their 50 year history. And Iowa is defintiely not flat! Fantastic and humbling experience. Jeannie met me in Des Moines and was a life saver! A real meal and a hot shower felt great at the midway point. Thanks to all for your love and support.

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm riding 500 miles across Iowa in the 50th annual RAGBRAI event and raising money to benefit Cure VCP Disease, Inc. RAGBRAI has a tradition of encouraging participants to ride in honor of a charity. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause in hopes that a treatment will soon be available for my college friend, Jeannie and her family.
Cure VCP Disease, Inc. was formed to drive efforts to cure diseases related to mutations of the Valosin Containing Protein (VCP) Gene. This includes the disease Inclusion Body Myopathy associated with Paget's disease of bone and Frontotemporal Dementia (IBMPFD). The aim of our organization is to provide global education and awareness to doctors, researchers, investors, patients, caregivers and the global population while advancing research for a treatment/cure of this very rare disease.
