Bobby's Memorial Bench

Hi, it's Lisa, Bobby's mama. July 8th is Bobby's 24th birthday and July 9th is his 5th anniversary in Heaven. This year I want to do something special for him. I would like to donate a bench to Cameron Park Lake Parks and Recreation.  I found the perfect place overlooking the lake along the trail.  It's beautiful and peaceful. Everyone that knew Bobby, knew what an old soul he was.  Im looking forward to having many conversations with him while sitting on his bench. The park ranger said I could place a plaque  on the bench with his name on it and I can plant trees on both sides. (I was thinking flowering plum trees, red was his favorite color).   I was going to do this alone  but friends suggested I do a gofundme to give Bobby's  friends the opportunity to be a part of this.  What a wonderful birthday present for him from all of us.   Bobby knows he will always be loved and  remembered, but how cool would it be to have a bench at the lake in his memory!  Even though he lived in the Bay Area for the last 3 years of his life here on earth, his heart belonged to the "530".    Once we get the bench put in I would like to invite everyone to join us at the park to celebrate his life and his music.
