Bobby Kokocinski Medical Fund

On March 7th, 2018 Bobby woke up with abdominal pain.  By that evening, the pain became so severe he went to the nearest Emergency Room.  Right from the triage room they rushed him off to CT scan, finding severe pancreatitis.  His lab work was found to be way out of the normal range.  The ER Doctor decided to transfer him to the Medical ICU at Buffalo General Hospital.

Within a couple hours of arriving at BGH, his heart rate and respirations were way too high.  It was determined that he should be intubated to better regulate his vitals.  He was put on a respirator, and put into a medically induced coma.

Unfortunately, his organs began to fail.  He was put on 24 hour dialysis.  Due to the amount of fluid being pumped into him, and his body's inability to regulate it, he was rushed to surgery to open up his abdomen to release the pressure the fluid was placing on his internal organs.

He has now had 3 surgeries, with more to come.  It's predicted that he will need to remain in the ICU for several weeks, with intense rehab following discharge.

Bobby just turned 22 yrs old on Sunday, March 4th and is currently employed part-time hours until the Summer when would have returned to full-time status.  Any assistance to help offset medical costs would be greatly appreciated by Bobby and his family.
