Bobby Jo Valentine Needs Us Now

Bobby and John will have to start over ... with nothing left.  Everything is gone.  Everylast possession has been destroyed in the Napa California fires.  I cannot imagine some of the best people I have ever met going through this all alone. 

My name is Tim Louque.  I have known Bobby for about four years.  singer / song.  He is an extraordianry person, one of the best people I have ever met.  In fact, Bobby performed my wedding ceremony.  That means he has a very special place in my life.  He has performed at my house four times, here in Houston.

Can't we all please come together and do everything we can to help them help themselves.  We love everything about Bobby and John ... the time is now, to raise them up from all that's left, ashes.  Every day, he helps us move forward, love more and strive to be a better person.  He is an incredibly talented singer / songwriter and he has lost all but one guitar ... all of his music, all of his equipment, cds, merchandise ... everything.

Having just been through this same kind of thing in Houston, during Hurricane Harvey, we know what it takes just to get back to somewhere NEAR normalcy.

Hey guys. It's all gone. I'm probably still in shock and holding things together. John is devastated.
Please don't send personal messages that need replies at this point, but thank you for the intention to help....we will reach out as things progress for what we can. This place and the beautiful things in it took John a lifetime to build up.

We knew the dangers of the fire hazard but family issues on John's side made it necessary for us to be up there. And now that's caused him to lose it all, which is going to take a lot...a LOT...to process. Because it's not just the fire...it's the fact that we shouldn't have had to be up there in the first place. So this will be rough. Please give us time, send us love. For me...I've lost almost EVERYTHING too. Every sound system, almost all CDs, every guitar but my Taylor, everything. It'll hit me hard, later. We might need financial help. I'll keep you all posted.

When something like this happens to someone, it is not a matter of how he will spend the money, it is a matter of what to replace first when everything is gone, what do you put at the toip of the list.  Nothing can happen to totally rebuild a life destroyed without money and they only have us to rely on.

The money raised will be spent starting with the essentials, toiletries, bedding ... a BED!  Food, clothes, finding a home .. the necessities to start life over.

I havenn't set up the withdrawal plan yet.  I will need to talk to Bobby and see how he wants to handle it.
