Bobby Cochran Could Use Our Help

Mission: We are raising funds (that go directly to Bobby Cochran on a daily basis whether the goal is met or not) to help replace stolen musical equipment and more. Please read on...

In late 2020, like many others, Bobby was stricken with Covid19, which left him hospitalized, followed by a lengthy recovery in Nashville. Sadly, during his long recuperation period, most of his musical equipment and contents, in storage in California, were systematically stolen, which has severely hampered Bobby’s ability to work and perform.

Additionally, he has suffered longer-term aftereffects in his hands that require further treatment. 
 
Funds raised here will help to replace much-needed equipment, offer some financial relief for additional medical bills, and expedite Bobby's return to performing.

On July 1, 2017, Bobby Cochran and his uncle, Eddie Cochran (Summertime Blues) were both inducted into the International Rockabilly Hall of Fame!

 

Bobby is a lead guitarist, singer, writer, and producer, who was influenced at an early age by his uncle. Driven to become a master guitarist, Bobby went on to work with many prominent groups and artists including Steppenwolf, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) and Leon Russell.

Following all that, he joined forces with Bob Weir, Billy Cobham (Mahavishnu Orchestra), Alphonso Johnson (Weather Report, Santana), Kenny Gradney (Little Feat) and Dave Garland (Righteous Bros.) to form Bobby and The Midnites, while recording for Columbia and Arista records.

 

Bobby’s writing and production work has encompassed motion pictures, videos, television, and records. In addition to his stage and studio work, he's held master classes in Europe, Japan, Mexico, and the U.S. As a life coach and teacher, he has helped many. Along the way he has contributed to the design and development of many of the guitars, amps, and effects he's used.

 

Now, we’re asking for some help for Bobby.
