Raising money to help pay medical bills and transportation/lodging expenses for family visits to Columbia St. Mary's Regional Burn Center in Milwaukee
Early morning of July 5th Dan and Carla Goffard were severely burned during a camper fire on Rileys Point in the Town of Gardner WI. Dan and Carla were both flown via Eagle III to the Columbia St. Mary's Regional Burn Center in Milwaukee where they are still being treated.
Carla sustained burns to 60% of her body and will remain in an induced coma until mid-August. Dan sustained burns to approximately 30% of his body and was in an induced coma until July 16th. Both have a long road of recovery and will remain in Milwaukee for several months.
It is unknown at this time what the total cost to the family will be but it will be at least $8,000 in out of pocket medical expenses/deductibles plus travel expenses from Green Bay to Milwaukee for family members.
