Bob's Transplant Recovery Fund

Our father, Bob Carpenter, finally got the call he's been waiting for! As we type this, he is in surgery receiving a donor liver.  Our unending gratitude goes out to the donor and his family and the surgical teams performing today's surgeries.

Fortunately, the hospital bill will be paid by insurance, but the post-op medications and non medical follow-up expenses (Mom's two-week stay in Boston and innumerable return trips for doctor visits and tests) have to come out of our parents' pockets. Anyone who knows Dad knows how hard working he was before he got sick and that he hasn't been able to work for almost four years. You also know that he is the first in line to lend a helping hand to someone in need and his illness has not changed that!

It is completely out of his comfort zone to ask for help, but we know there are so many family members and friends who would want to give back to him.  And so we are creating this fund and humbly asking you to please help our parents.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
