Bob's Muscular Dystrophy Fund

My husband Robert Gaff has Muscular Dystrophy. He first found out he had it in his early 50's although the doctors said that he unknowingly had it all of his life. It is now to the point where the simple tasks that we take for granted like getting into bed, showering, etc. are a major challenge with increasing difficulty.

He has had multiple falls and multiple cases where we have had to call 911 in order to help him up. Our house is not handicap accessible and at the very least we need the bathroom expanded and completely remodeled to make it handicap accessible. 

This expense would cause extreme hardship for it does not take into account the strain of the medical expenses that have been ongoing and are in the near future including mobility equipment, lift equipment and replacing our dated disability van which is his only means of transportation because it is wheelchair accessible.

Bob has been a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. since the age of 9 and he still trys to attend when able. I am hoping that with the help of the Drum & Bugle Corp., along with the help of friends and family campaigning for him we may raise enough money to cover the remodeling of the bathroom, and help to restore some of his dignity.  

He has been very fortunate this far to not experience any major injury, especially when he has fallen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
