Bob (Snakeboy) Hickey Cancer Fund

My brother Bob had worked for the US Postal Service for over twenty five years.  He reached his retirement this year at the end of March.  He is also a DJ in the Lowell/Dracut area using the name Snakeboy for his nom de plume.  In July of this year, he was diagnosed with multiple myelopma.  His diagnosis is Stage II Multiple Myeloma.  There is no cure at this time, but it can be treated.  The treatment consists of 3 steps.  The 1st step is a chemo “cocktail” administered over a 4-6 cycle period with the hopes of pushing the cancer into “remission.”  Once that happens, it is onto the 2nd step ~ Stem Cell Collection. After that, onto step 3 ~ Stem Cell Transplant. 
    As part of his retirement, Bob planned to work part time to supplement his retirement income.  Due to his treatment, he is unable to work.  Also, Bob is faced with medical bills due to hospitlaizations all related to fighting this cancer. 
    As a family, we are doing everything in our power to be sure Bob is able to make his appointments and have the support he needs to try to stay as independent as possible.   We are looking for help to stabilize his financial situation with mounting bills for co-payments, medicines, and living expenses.
