Dearest friends and family,
I am writing to you in regards to a recent setback my family and I have had to face. My father, Robert Pahlck (pops) is a dedicated, hardworking, ambitious, and resilient man who has spent his life providing for me and my family. My father has worked several jobs over the years to do his best to make ends meet, and to support my mother during her most difficult and trying time of breast cancer. Although my mother is a survivor of breast cancer, she is currently unable to work. Aside from being a wonderful father and husband, my father has also dedicated his life to giving back to the community, your community. My father is a third generation firefighter who spent over 40 years serving and protecting the towns of Neptune and South Belmar. Along with firefighting, my father has also dedicated his time to volunteering as a first aid member of the Bradley Beach First Aid Squad for the past five years. He strongly believes in giving back to the community and spending his time doing what he can to protect individuals and their families.
In January of 2018, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, causing him to take a backseat in working and volunteering. This was not his choice. Furthermore, this has strongly taken a toll on him and his never ending desire to provide for my family and give back to his community. During this time, we are asking for your support, both financially and in prayer, to help my family and father during this difficult time. Any amount you can donate will go towards paying rent and purchasing food, as well as outstanding medical bills - and will greatly assist in helping us get through this difficult time. If you could kindly pass this on to your friends and family, the brotherhood of firefighters, and other first aid members, it would be greatly appreciated!
