Bob Newcombs Accident Fund

Donation protected
Anyone that has met this family knows they would do anything to help you out in your time of need and now it is our turn to show them the same.  I have created this fund to help them with medical expenses, gas, lodging, food or anything else they might need.

Bob Newcomb  was loading 2 bulls to go to the Ash Flat, AR sale. 1 bull was on the trailer and the other bull was being loaded when the two bulls started fighting. The bull in the back came off the trailer and knocked dad down. Then both bulls were off the trailer fighting on top of him. Mom was there and got the bulls off of him by yelling at them. She called an ambulance and the paramedics said he needed to be Air Evac’d to Cape. Cape said due to his injuries he needed to be air vac’d to Barnes.

He is on a breathing machine due to 16 broken ribs. Ribs 2-9 on each side.
The intubation will help him since it will breathe for him.

Right lung has collapsed-he has a chest tube

Left lung has blood but it has not collapsed

Many, many lacerations, bruises and hematoma on the leg. Dad was covering his head and face with his arms and his arms are pretty banged up.

He had surgery 8/11/18 and had fractured T3 and T6. The surgeons put a steel rod on each side of the spine from T3 to T8. They said he is doing well.
