Hello all friends, family, students, and colleagues. As you may or may not know, Bob MacDougall has been fighting the good fight against cancer. It was well advanced when diagnosed and his treatments have been pretty much non-stop all while he continued to travel for work, keep up with his body work biz and continuing to move forward in his life.
Last week, things took a turn for the worse and he was admitted to the hospital shortly after having arrived for his radiation treatment. After a long series of tests, they have determined that his cancer has now spread and, most likely, is very aggressive. Because of this, he is unable to reside at the residence he was previously living.
He is getting some social security monthly but I’m not sure if he has much other income than that at this point.
As far as immediate expenses, we are looking at about $1000 to get him packed/moved & get everything in storage for him to then deal with at some point down the road. That figure does include the first months storage as well.
His storage will then cost $270/month with PODS Storage and then they will deliver everything to him when he’s ready.
We just want him to be comfortable and stress-free of financial burdens wherever he resides next. He has friends and family looking out for him, but a few extra bucks can always help. Anything you can provide is tremendously appreciated.
