Bob Lockwood's Road To Recovery

Our Dad suffered a massive stroke on October 14th.  The bleeding couldn't be controlled at our local hospital so he was transfered  to receive a relatively new procedure. The procedure did stop the bleeding but he's now dealing with a multitude of post operative complications which has him in the Neuro ICU since 10/14/2017. He was unresponsive for days. He's hooked up to IV lines, a breathing machine and a feeding tube. We could have lost him. Honestly, we still can. He's almost out of the woods but not yet.
Recovering from all his complications can take weeks in ICU. When he recovers from these complications, he is going to have a LONG road ahead of him.  Most stroke patients require 3-6 months of inpatient rehabilitation to relearn how to speak, eat, drink, use his right side and hopefully walk. And then outpatient rehab to learn all this new normal he will be facing.
Not only is he going through this but so are we - Janessa and LB. 
Going forward, the costs are going to be astronomical. The stress will be through the roof.  We haven't been working so that we can be here for Dad during this time. Because if it was the end, we had to be here. We've dealt with insurance issues, packed his apartment, tried to make heads or tails of his debts. 
Any funds generated will go directly toward medical expenses, insurance premiums, bills, gas/ tolls, rehabilitiation, a new residence that he can easily access (when the time comes), whatever he needs. 
He doesn't have an easy road ahead of him. No one who is close to him has an easy road ahead. Consider helping us, help our Dad.
