Bob Gray Cancer Treatment

Hello, I am Pastor Kenny Martin. I and another friend, Russ Gressett, have a very dear friend named Bob Gray. Many of you know or remember Bob and his wife Margaret from their involvement with Cleansing Stream Ministries in the Houston area, I want to make you aware that Bob is currently in the midst of a second battle against cancer.  Our intention is to simply be of help to them in the midst of this battle in every way that we can.
By way of background, in 2013 Bob underwent cancer surgery and chemo treatments. He was cancer free for several years thereafter. In March 2017, Bob noticed some symptoms reappearing.  Subsequently, Bob was diagnosed with bladder cancer for the second time.  This time the tumor was both inside and outside his bladder and also attached to his pelvic muscle.  He is currently graded as Stage 4.  In April, Bob had 2 rounds of chemo at MD Anderson.  Due to side effects of this treatment, chemo is no longer an option. Additionally, surgery is not possible in his case; however, if you know Bob...he is not through fighting.  Russ and I have a real heart to help Bob and Margaret in a serious time of need in any way we can.  This Go Fund Me account is one way we can accomplish that goal.  We invite you to join us.

Matthew 7:7 tells us as believers to ask, seek, and to knock. 

After asking God to reveal to me how I could help and get involved, I approached Bob and Margaret with the option of going through the program at Oasis of Hope Hospital (www.oasisofhope.com).  I personally know of a pastor's wife who was diagnosed with breast cancer and was graded as Stage 4. She had no natural hope of recovery. She went to Oasis of Hope Hospital and has been cancer free for five years.  Additionally, Bob and Margaret themselves, know a number of others who have gone through the program with great success.  It is a wonderful hospital that offers Bob some treatments and approaches to battling the cancer that he cannot participate in within the United States.  And, it does so when other options are now off the table for Bob.  The hospital utilizes an integrated approach of both conventional and alternative methods to battle cancer and has seen tremendous successes over the years.

What I am asking you to do is pray first and foremost for God to remove the tumor and all cancer cells from Bob's body. Secondly, I ask you to help in sending Bob and Margaret to Oasis of Hope Hospital.  It is my hope and prayer that Bob and Margaret will not have to worry about ANY expenses as his insurance will not cover these treatments.  Worry or anxiety about finances is the absolute last thing this wonderful couple need to be concerned with in the midst of this battle.

The requested goal of $65,000. will cover the initial three weeks of treatments, airfare there and back, any medicine Bob may need, the follow-up in 3 months that he will have to undergo, and any unforeseen costs that may be incurred.  Specifically, I am asking for 1000 people to pray about giving $65 or more, as God would lead you.  Of this amount, $60,000. will go for the expenses and approximately $5000 will go to Go Fund Me for fees of the fundraiser.

After praying about it themselves, they have allowed me to set up this account.  Every dime will go to Bob and Margaret for any expenses incurred for Bob's treatment and healing!  I truly believe God showed me Oasis of Hope Hospital as the doctors and staff are Christian as well.  I know, and Bob knows, that God heals .  We also know He used Doctors as well.
