Bob and Dina Anderson's Irma fund

Donation protected
We all watched in awe as Hurricane Irma made landfall at 9:10 am Sunday morning on Cudjoe Key, the Florida Key that my parents Bob and Dina Anderson call their home.  Several years back they packed up their belongings from Michigan and headed down south.  They bought a double wide modular on Cudjoe Key in a senior community called "Venture Out", and venture out they did!  My mom has found her group and play Bingo, rides her tri-cycle around their small co-op, and host parties amongst their friends....my dad has joined forces with the local group of bluegrass players, found a new passion for deep sea fishing (on his little boat) and golfs with his buddies.  They have been in Colorado visiting me and their tickets "home" were slated for this upcoming Friday.  Now they have no "home" to go back to.  Insuring a double wide modular is tricky business as the cost to benefit ratio is prohibitive and the home depreciates (in the eye of the insurer) too rapidly to have much of an impact in the event of a loss.  Their home was paid for in full! My folks (Bob and Dina) are aged and beyond their working years.  Please help.  Any amount would help get this campaign moving.  The reality of what it would cost to rebuild their home is about $200,000.  We are shooting for $100,000 here.  When we are able to have access to Cudjoe, we will be sending a small group of our families "man-power" down to the Keys to remove the rubble and begin the rebuilding proccess. I will keep this site updated throughout the proccess.
