Boardwalk Freedom

My name is Doug Thomas, and as I was walking across the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach last week, a group of officers stopped me because I was not wearing a mask, and subsequently cited, and arrested me for this so called infraction. I intend to use the proceeds from this fundraiser to fight this horseshit and prevent future harassment of other beachgoers. As Americans, we are fortunate to live in a country that values the rule of law, but laws are passed to ensure our liberties, not to provide overzealous law enforcement with busy work, or to provide the United States judicial system with a means to plunder its citizens. A look at the State of Emergency address by Governor Carney on March 13th of this year shows that the only mention of face masks regarding the public is made in item #8 (twice) regarding facilities that serve older adults. Let the record show that Governor Carney’s declaration has been unrevised as of March 12th when he signed off on it (at 3:00 P.M.), and has it’s latest publication date listed as March 25th (the page will be linked below). This overstepping of government is not an infringement that I take lightly, because when the state unlawfully goes after the rights of a single citizen they betray their intentions for the rest of us. Help me show these aspiring totalitarians that the American public will not tolerate their frivolous attempts to exact control over our lives, and that our citizens value the sanctity of the individual more than the attempts of the state to consolidate power.
