Boardsmill Walk Together

24-hour Walkathon in association with Praxis Care and Local Autism Charities to raise much-needed funds to develop new toilet facilities and dressing rooms at our back pitch (Patsy's Field). The Boardsmill GAA, LGFA and Camogie Clubs have combined forces to complete a 24-hour walk at our pitch in one-hour slots starting Friday, 4th November at 5 pm, finishing Saturday, 5th at 5 pm.

Praxis Care

Praxis Care supports individuals with mental ill health, autism, learning disabilities and dementia, providing innovative, professional, high-quality support services to people across the spectrum of need and particularly at the higher level of complexity. Navan Day Service is a day service for young adults in Navan Co Meath. They support adults with autism and intellectual disabilities in a New Directions-led service. They offer day services that provide individualised support, and fulfilling and varied activities, allowing individuals to develop their skills and enjoy a social atmosphere during the day.

Local Autism Charities

There are several local autism units and centres that we would like to donate to; Kilbride National School are building a new specialised autism unit which we'd like to support, and also St. Michael's National School in Trim which we supported previously.
