Cancer Treatments

This is my daughter’s fiancé. She is a gem and has Mastastic Cancer. She is having complications. They were supposed to get married, but Covid diverted their beautiful plans. Shortly after the wedding needed to be postponed,she was diagnosed. It went from her spine to her lung and is now her hip. We are thankful for medical insurance,but it still leaves many out of pocket costs. She is currently unemployed. It breaks my heart to see the pain she suffers daily ...the hair loss , the vomit, the swollen body from the steroids,the depleted energy, the physical exhaustion to just do things we take for granted. Lex is one of the strongest young ladies I know.Lex remains determined. We need Lex’s body to be strong enough to fight this cancer. We need her body to embrace this new chemo and overcome the cancer. Her body has rejected this last aggressive chemo , but Lex is a warrior. She will continue weekly chemo and additionally be receiving 3 chemo shots every two weeks to target each area. The shots are very costly, and Lex is out of work.The insurance doesn’t cover all costs.My daughter also needs strength and courage to stand strong by Lex’s side. No contribution is too small .
