Caring for Kennedy

Kennedy Alexander is a brave 15 year old young lady. She was born with a birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). At 5 days old she had her first surgery and has had many surgeries since which has created quite a strain on her family's resources.  In June of 2020, Kennedy had surgery to correct her scoliosis, which resulted from her CDH. Since this surgery she has been in and out the hospital with complications and infections. Due to the current heath restrictions and frequent trips for wound care and hospital visits, they are now a one income family to keep Kennedy safe. She went into the hospital today, 9/25/2020, and received a diagnosis of bacterial meningitis and will be in the ICU in Indianapolis at Peyton Manning Hospital until the infection is under control. Right now her mother, Kelly, is with her and her father, Jake, is at home with her little sister, Korbin. The family is in urgent need of financial support as well as gift cards and gas money for travel expenses. We greatly appreciate any support you can give to relieve the family's stress under this difficult situation. And Most of all we request your thoughts and prayers  for Kennedy and her family.
